It's not only the arena workers. It's also the companies and people that work for them supplying the arenas that are getting crushed, too. The economic spill over effects throughout the economic ecosystem of hockey are terrible.

It's an unfortunate and unprecedented situation. There's more questions than answers. I feel bad for these arena workers. But I also feel bad for everyone who's out of work right now trying to make ends meet.

UI average with the extra 600/wk is now 975/wk. Most than what most arena workers make. Now if this goes beyond July 31st, there's going to be some real issues.
